Each year, PCO brings together the international orthopedic community around a shared ambition: delivering one of the most practical, immersive, and innovative educational experiences orthopedic treatment.
More than a congress, PCO is a comprehensive educational platform designed to support healthcare professionals throughout the year.
The 2026 edition welcomed more than 400 participants to Toulouse from July 1–3, offering an outstanding programme structured around four dedicated half day themes: Knee & Sports Medicine, Degenerative Hip,Degenerative Knee, and Conservative Hip & Knee.
Each half-day combines a range of complementary educational formats, including Best of Congresses, Virtual Fellowships, an exclusive PCO concept offering an immersive insight into the daily practice of world-renowned experts, and Live Clinics where participants observe real patient consultations and clinical decision-making live on stage.
To further strengthen its practical focus, PCO 2026 introduces new Surgical Sessions, dedicated to surgical techniques and technical tips from expert faculty, alongside an expanded Hands-on Workshop Area, where participants can immediately translate scientific knowledge into practical skills.
The educational experience began on July 1 with the ESSKA Cadaver Lab Pre-Course, a full-day whole-body cadaveric training programme that provided an exceptional opportunity to refine surgical techniques under the guidance of leading international faculty in operating room conditions.
By combining exclusive educational formats, international faculty, hands-on training, and clinically relevant content,PCO has become a leading platform for orthopedic education in Europe.
