Bertrand Boyer
Bertrand Boyer is a revision arthroplasty surgeon. As head of the Bone and Joint Infection Unit of the University Hospital Centre of Saint Etienne, quite a few of these revisions are Prosthetic Joint Infections. He also has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, with a focus on Dual Mobility THA, which was invented in Saint Etienne.
Alexandre Le Guen
Resident in orthopedic surgery at the University Hospital of Toulouse, he aspires to specialize in hip and knee surgery. He is interested in sports surgery as well as prosthetic surgery. In terms of research, he is currently working on scientific publications on arthrogenic muscle inhibition in knee surgery. Since January 2024, he has been a member of the board of SFA Junior, a society aiming to popularize and make arthroscopic surgery more accessible to orthopedic residents in France.
Edoardo Monaco
Edoardo Monaco graduated in Medicine at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 2001, post-graduated in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 2006, and obtained a PhD in 2009, all at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Since 2019, he has been an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Rome La Sapienza and works as an orthopedic surgeon at Sant’Andrea Hospital in Rome, Italy. He is the author of more than 120 papers indexed in Scopus and PubMed. He specializes in knee surgery, arthroscopy, and sports traumatology. He is a member of SIAGASCOT, ESSKA, and ISAKOS. He is also a member of the ACL study group.
Matthieu Ollivier
Matthieu Ollivier is currently a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Institute of Movement and Locomotion (Chairman: Pr Jean-Noel Argenson) at Aix-Marseille University Hospital, in Marseille, France. His clinical practice is dedicated to knee-related procedures, with a special focus on sports injuries (cartilage, meniscus, ligaments) and osteotomies. He is engaged in an academic field at Aix-Marseille University, teaching medical students, interns, orthopedic residents and fellows.
