Knee
Multi ligament
Discover Vincent Marot's new technique for the anatomic reconstruction of the 3 ligaments of the medial complex of the knee using a continuous single rectus femoris graft. Following laxity assessment, a superficial 10 mm-wide tendon strip is harvested to restore complete medial stability.
Key surgical steps:
- Graft harvest: Superficial rectus femoris strip isolated and taken proximally with a 7 mm open stripper.
- Socket preparation: Targeted sockets reamed at the medial epicondyle, distal tibial sMCL, and POL footprints.
- Sequential tensioning: POL fixation in full extension, sMCL at 30° flexion with interference screws, and dMCL stabilization using knotless anchors.
